The Michalici are an international Catholic religious congregation founded in 1921. Today, they operate in over 10 countries and include more than 300 members—seminarians and priests. Their mission focuses on youth education, pastoral work, organizing retreats, and running schools, youth centers, and the publishing house "Michaelineum."
CHALLENGE
The Michalici needed a modern, cross-platform mobile app to improve internal communication, simplify access to daily spiritual resources, and organize important community information — all in one place.
SOLUTION

The homepage is the app's hub, displaying the current date, the day's plan, and the latest “Living Word”—a spiritual reflection shared by members of the congregation. Shortcuts to key functions at the bottom make daily use easy.
The address book includes photos, contact details, and descriptions of congregation members. Built-in calling and messaging functions enable direct contact and efficiently build community bonds.
The prayer section provides easy access to selected spiritual texts. It's a space you can turn to at any moment—individually or in communal prayer.
The list of houses presents religious houses worldwide. Each entry includes the house name, a photo, and assigned congregation members, which aids in navigating the structure and strengthens the sense of community despite physical distance.
General news allows for the quick dissemination of important updates—whether they concern organization, spirituality, or community life.
The jubilees and name days section helps celebrate joys together and show remembrance at important times. Reminders strengthen community bonds and nurture tradition.
The “Deceased” tab allows for paying tribute to deceased congregation members. Each entry contains basic information and a short biography—a digital form of memory and gratitude.
The “Living Word” feature allows every user to add their own spiritual reflection. Once approved, the entries appear on the main page, supporting the mutual sharing of the word and experience.
